About Bacchrituo

Bacchrituo was founded in Bologna in 2015 by Marco Ritucci and Sofia Bacchi, who met while renovating a historic osteria in the Quadrilatero market district. The name blends their surnames with Bacchus — the Roman god of wine and conviviality — reflecting their belief that restaurant design should celebrate the ritual of shared meals.

From our studio on Via dell'Indipendenza, we have completed over 60 restaurant and café projects across Bologna, Modena, Parma, and the Romagna coast. We work with independent restaurateurs, hotel groups, and food hall operators who share our passion for authentic Emilian hospitality.

Our Philosophy

Great restaurant interiors do not compete with the food — they frame it. We design spaces where the aroma of ragù, the clink of wine glasses, and the warmth of terracotta walls create an atmosphere guests remember long after the bill arrives. Every material, light source, and seating angle is considered for both guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Sofia Bacchi — Creative Director. MA Interior Design, Politecnico di Milano. Specialises in material palettes and lighting for dining environments.

Andrea Conti — Technical Director. Kitchen flow specialist and HACCP compliance consultant for back-of-house planning.
